Last Minute Tips to prepare for the Quantitative Ability section of the IBPS PO 2016 examination

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an organization that conducts tests and drives for recruitment into banks as bank clerks and officers. The Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment of officers and clerks is now mandatory for employment in Indian public sector and regional rural banks.

With the Prelims exam just a few days away, in this article, we’re going to share with you some tips and tricks on preparing for the Quantitative Ability section of the IBPS PO 2016 examination.

1.First, always attempt simplification and approximations related questions as they are the easiest parts of the Quantitative Section.

2.Don't spend more than 30 seconds on any question. If you are struck with any question, it is better to skip the question or mark for review and move on to the next question.

3.Check all the questions in the Quantitative section because sometimes easy questions will be at the end of the section.

4.While attempting the Data Interpretation based questions, first understand the given data with the units and then answer the questions.

5.In these Data Interpretation questions, prefer the average, the ratio and the percentage calculations based questions to the other models.

6.Be confident about your answer. Do not change it again and again.

All the Best!
