B.  2023

C.  2123

D.  2224

### Ans:   B

(17^3*7^2)/119

(17^3*7^2)/17*7

17^2*7=2023

4. What replaces the ? in the series  6, 9, 13.5, 2025, ?

A.  30.375

B.  31.345

C.  29.375

D.  40.325

### Ans:   A

Explanation:6

A. 3

B. 6

C. 4

D. 5

### Ans:   D

6.A, B, C subscribe Rs. 60,000 for a business. If A subscribes Rs. 6000 more than B and B Rs. 4500 more than C, out of a total profit of Rs. 40,000, what will be the amount B receives in Rs.?

A.  14000

B.  13700

C.  14800

D.  13000

### Ans:   D

Explanation:

Total amount invested = 60000

Assume that investment of C =x.

Then investment of B =4500+x,

Investment of A =4500+6000+x=10,500+x

x+4500+x+10,500+x=60000

3x+15,000=60,000

3x=60,000-15,000=45,000

x=45,000/3=15,000

Investment of C =x=15000

Investment of B =4500+x=19,500

Investment of A =10,500+x=25,500

Ratio of the investment of A, B and C

=25,500:19,500:15000

=25.5:19.5:15

Share of B = (Total profit *19.5)/60

=(40000×19.5)/60=13,000
