Here is the Deloitte Recruitment Process.

It includes the following three rounds:

  • Round 1: Deloitte Recruitment Online exam
  • Round 2: Group Discussion/Jam Session 
  • Round 3: Personal Interview

 

Deloitte Recruitment Online Exam:

Online exam consists of three sections:

a) Verbal ability

b) Quantitative Ability

c) Logical Reasoning

Verbal Ability for Deloitte Online Exam:

This section consists of 25 questions and time given is 25 minutes.

Quantitative Ability for Deloitte Online Exam:

This section consists of 25 questions and time allotted is 35 minutes.

Logical Reasoning for Deloitte Online Exam:

This section consists of 25 questions and time allotted is 35 minutes.

Verbal Ability: Questions on Para jumbles, Fill In The Blanks, questions on vocabulary (Synonyms, antonyms) and reading comprehension questions. The level of the paper is moderate.

Quantitative Ability: Questions on logarithms, Probability, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Permutations and Combinations, arrangement puzzles, HCF and LCM. The level of the paper is moderate.

Logical Reasoning: Questions on directions, blood relations, arrangement puzzles, data sufficiency questions and number series.

Deloitte Group Discussion:

The number of participants in a group will range between 15 and 25. The members of a group are given a topic that needs to be discussed among the group. For example, the topic might be "Facebook should be banned in schools." You are expected to present your views, supported by valid examples and reasons. Some times, the group discussion panel/moderators specifically ask a particular person to present his/her views in between the discussion. So be ready with your points on the given topic. Of course, there are many Do's and Don'ts for GDs, which are explained very elaborately in the videos available on Learning Center in Conduira Online. This is an elimination round.

Deloitte Personal Interview:

Technical questions on C, C++, Java, DBMS and operating systems are expected. In the HR round, the interview panel questions you everything and anything related to your personality, family, education, hobbies, internships, work experience (if relevant), general knowledge, etc. While we would be sharing various Interview questions based on students' experiences in the Forums of Conduira Online, we suggest you go through GDPI videos in the Learning Center of Conduira Online to understand and to learn the right answers to these questions.

Important updates on Deloitte Campus Recruitment Process:

Round 1: Deloitte Online Examination or the Written/Aptitude Round

The Written/Aptitude exam follows adaptive testing. Adaptive Testing is a form of test that adapts to the candidate’s ability of answering a question accurately. For example, if a candidate gives a correct answer to a question, the question that follows will be of more difficulty. On the other hand, if a candidate fails to give a correct answer, the follow-up question is going to be an easier one. In other words, the level of difficulty of the test adapts itself to the answering ability of a candidate. Adaptive testing helps improve a candidate’s morale while attempting the exam as well as the score accuracy.

There is no negative marking in the Aptitude Test. The test pattern and the areas of testing are similar to the previous year’s models.

Round 2: Deloitte JAM Session

The Group Discussion Round is going to be replaced by a JAM session.

JAM stands for Just a Minute. Students will be divided into groups of 10 – 15 members each. Each student will be given a topic on which he/she is expected to speak for at least a minute (time can vary in different cases). The topics are generally based on Current Affairs. Few examples are Goods and Services Tax – GST, Indo –China Border Tensions, PM Modi’s Israel Visit etc.,

Round 3: Deloitte Technical and HR Interview  

It is similar to the pattern mentioned above.
