This blog will acquaint the candidates(both engineering & science graduates)  with Wipro selection policies, graduation criteria, academic criteria and documents required for applying at Wipro.

Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Candidates

Graduation Criteria

Only full time courses will be considered (Part Time/Correspondence courses will not be considered).

1) B.E / B.Tech  in any discipline (CSE/ECE/IT/CIVIL/ME/EEE/Automobile/Aeronautical etc.)

2)Engineering candidates who have passed out in the year 2018 & 2017 are eligible to apply.

Academic Criteria

1) A candidate must have more than 60% marks in 10th and 12th (or diploma).

2) A candidate must have a minimum of 65% marks in graduation and Post Graduation ( if applicable).

3) A candidate should not have any pending backlogs at the time of appearing for Wipro selection process.

4) The graduation should be a Full-Time course recognized by Central/State government of India.

5) A candidate must have completed all the exit formalities in the previous organization before joining Wipro.

Wipro Policies

1) If a candidate has attended an interview within the past 6 months from the date of new application, then he/ she is ineligible to apply.

2) If a candidate has been rejected by Wipro in an interview, then the candidate is ineligible to apply again for a period of 6 months after the interview.

3) If for some reason Wipro has terminated the candidate's application, then the candidate is ineligible to apply. 

4) If for any reason a candidate after applying in Wipro, misses the opportunity to give the interview then the candidate holds the right to apply again and can attend the selection process.

1) All original mark sheets related to SSC (10th), Intermediate(12th) and Graduation are required to be produced at the time of interview. Also, please carry a copy of a set of all documents at the time of interview.

2) A copy of candidate's updated resume.

3) Passport size photographs.

4) An original identification proof issued by the government of India (Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Voter id, Passport etc.)

For Science Graduates

Wipro offers two integrated learning programs( WASE & WISTA)  designed to equip B.Sc/M.Sc/BCA/Diploma candidates with  IT and Computer application skills that make them at par with the best of the industry. With the help of these programs, students can gain industry exposure and real time practical knowledge by participating in live projects thereby developing their skills as an IT professional. Wase and Wista provide project experience along with a monthly stipend that increases every year.

Wase

WASE is a unique program launched by Wipro in 1995. It offers BCA/B.Sc (Computer science)  candidates to pursue higher education such as M.tech.

WASE is an eight-semester (4 year) off-campus collaborative M.Tech in Software Engineering program equivalent in status to the full-time  2 years M.Tech in Software Engineering degree program offered by BITS Pilani.

Graduation Criteria for WASE

1) BCA/B.Sc (Computer Science ) is only required.

Academic Criteria for WASE

1) A candidate must have more than 50% marks in 10th and 12th (or diploma).

2) A candidate must have a minimum of 60% marks in graduation.

3) Mathematics is mandatory in 12th Standard.

4) A candidate should not have any pending backlogs.. 

Wista

(Wipro Software Technology Academy) is an 8-semester (4 years) off-campus collaborative M.Tech  Program launched in 2011 in collaboration with VIT ( Vellore Institute of Technology) offering the best IT platform and live project exposure.

Graduation Criteria for WiSTA

1) B.Sc. candidates can apply( Excluded branches are Nursing &  Medical Related, Food Technology, Polymer Chemistry, Apparel & Fashion Technology, Agriculture, Costume & Interior Design ).

2) B.com (CA) can also apply.

Academic Criteria for WASE

1) A candidate must have more than 50% marks in 10th and 12th (or diploma).

2) A candidate must have a minimum of 60% marks in graduation.
